Kids backpacks - so many options!

When your toddler or child is ready to fly the coop for preschool, kindergarten or day care, odds are your child will need a backpack to store his treasures, a drink, and perhaps a change of clothes.  With all the kids backpacks brands out there, how can you pick what is right for your child?  There are several popular brands to consider. 

Mint Sweet Little Things

Mint is one of the most popular toddler backpack manufactures out there because of popular styles, features, and value.  Mint has an entire line of children’s products including nap mats, lunch totes, and duffle bags so from a coordinating set standpoint this is a great brand.
 
Their toddlers sized backpacks measure 8” x 11” and are made of sturdy nylon for a long life.  One reason for Mint's popularity is a big bag face perfect for personalization.  Embroidery can be big and matching the bag trim is an easy way to have a classic good look.  Although they are nylon, they are BPA free.

Mint also has a medium sized childrens backpack line for ages 4-teens.  They measure 15” x 13.5” and are constructed out of same fabric and trims as the toddler line.

Stephen Joseph

Stephen Joseph has a great line of 100% quilted cotton toddler backpacks.  Stephen Joseph backpacks are themed and the selection of themes is amazing – there are around 40 backpacks in the line.  Like Mint, Stephen Joseph also has matching nap mats, lunch totes, duffle bags and much more.

At 11” x 13” the Stephen Joseph toddler backpacks are a little bigger than the Mint toddler line, have main pouch that closes with a magnetic snap, and have a zippered pocket  These bags can all be personalized but not quite as large as Mint line.
